There are around 1 million listed buildings in Germany. The valuation of such listed buildings often presents even qualified and experienced valuers and experts with a major challenge. Insufficient data on the building as well as missing or contradictory information on listed buildings make the valuation task even more difficult. As a result, the valuation of listed buildings can quickly become a seemingly impossible task.
To relieve you of the painstaking task of researching various sources on listed buildings, Wert14 now has its own feature for recognizing listed buildings in the “Plus” and “Professional” tariffs.
Valuation of listed buildings with Wert14
In a Wert14 building valuation, you can select a possible monument protection in the building details. The following specifications can be selected:
- not available
- only individual components or decorative elements
- facade and roof only
- Interior fittings only
- entire building
To make the valuation of listed buildings even easier for you, the new listed building feature displays available listed building information for the selected address within the valuation with Wert14.
Use the monument protection feature in Wert14
Simply click on the “Monument protection information” button under ” Building details ” in Wert14.

If information on the listed building status of the address to be assessed was found, you can display this with a click. Depending on the data available, you will receive the following information:
- Type of monument (e.g. sandstone image)
- Former designation, use of the monument
- Detailed location of the listed element
- Year of construction/inauguration
If available, you will also receive images of possible listed elements or buildings.

Note: The accuracy, completeness and up-to-dateness of the listed building information is not guaranteed. If no information on listed buildings is available, this does not mean that the building is not a listed building.
In the case of listed buildings or special buildings, we recommend that you seek advice from a surveyor or expert. You are welcome to commission our external network of experts for this purpose.
