assfinet and Skendata cooperate in building valuation

SkenData & assfinet cooperate: The new interface digitizes the process of determining building insurance sums efficiently and transparently.

Determining the current sum insured for a building can be a lengthy process. As a rule, the insurance broker uses a sum determination sheet or calls in an expert. This often results in a laborious and cost-intensive building valuation.

SkenData and assfinet digitize insurance processes together

The Rostock-based InsurTech SkenData – Germany’s market leader in the automated calculation of building insurance values – is launching assfinet as a leading solution provider in the insurance industry, assfinet has ams, one of the most widely used software solutions for the digitalization of insurance brokerage.

Wert14 is an efficient digital building valuation system on the market that has established itself as the industry standard for digital insurance valuation in Germany.

Wert14 interface available in ams

As of ams.5 version 4.6.2.57608, an interface with Wert14 is available. The newly integrated interface includes a direct jump from ams to SkenData’s digital building value calculation. This makes it easy to calculate the associated building insurance sum in marks and euros. The interface also makes it quick and easy to check the insurance value from existing contracts, as the address to be insured is automatically transferred to the Wert14 application.

The service is addressed via the BiPRO interface. Please note that the interface is only fully supported from ams.5 version 4.6.2.57608. If you are using a previous version, please update your broker management system first. In addition, the use of the interface requires the licensing of the ams.5 functional scope BiPRO connection.

A detailed description of how to use the SkenData/ams interface can be found on the assfinet blog.

Wert14 – Digital building valuation from SkenData

With Wert14, SkenData provides insurers, intermediaries, brokers and agencies with an independent valuation tool that optimizes the valuation process with its innovative procedures.

Land registry data, official 3D building data, aerial photographs and recognized calculation methods (NHK 2010, NHK 1914, VdS 772) serve as the basis for the digital building valuation with Wert14. This data, which is available for over 51 million buildings throughout Germany, is used to create a realistic image of the building and automatically calculate the sum insured. All important building dimensions such as enclosed space, gross floor area, insured living space and residential units are also supplied automatically. Even the building extension (e.g. roof and basement extension) and the quality of the fittings are predefined during the valuation process thanks to the use of new technologies such as AI and big data. This data can be checked for plausibility by the user during the valuation or adjusted individually if required.

Wert14 BuildingReport in ams

As a result, a building report is automatically assigned to the transaction in ams and saved there. The BuildingReport contains all factors (e.g. Wert 1914, building price index, regionalized insurance value) and valuation features such as quality of fittings and building sizes (gross floor area, enclosed space, insured living space).

A new valuation directly from the ams process is also possible without any problems. ams also manages the different versions of a BuildingReport.

Waiver of underinsurance with the Wert14 BuildingReport

Upon presentation of a current Wert14 BuildingReport, more than 30 insurers already waive the determination and crediting of underinsurance in the event of a claim under individual conditions.

The BuildingReport offers all parties involved more objectivity, transparency, and accuracy. The broker thus provides both the insurer and his customers with a professional document that makes the determination of the insurance premium comprehensible. For the insurance broker, the use of Wert14 results in an optimized and efficient valuation process with convenient handling.
