SkenData 2022 – Company highlights at a glance

Unbelievable, but true: the days of 2022 are almost numbered and the festive season is just around the corner. We would like to take this opportunity to look back on the year, share information, celebrate successes and give ourselves a pat on the back. We have experienced, created and learned so much again this year – thank you 2022!

2022 – A year full of new perspectives, partners and events

We have achieved a lot again this year. Our focus on sustainability has opened up new business areas and target groups. We shared our vision of the Net Zero path with you at numerous events and functions and received a lot of positive feedback.

From the address to the energy certificate – our EnergyCheck is probably the biggest innovation in our product world. ESG KPIs such as emission intensities and energy efficiency classes can be analyzed automatically with the EnergyCheck. The result: a provisional energy requirement certificate as a PDF download.

Since 2022, SkenData has been an approved issuer of energy performance certificates, a member of DENEFF (Deutsche Unternehmensinitiative Energieeffizienz e.V.), an official “energy efficiency expert for federal funding programs” and has even been part of the EEFIG (Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group) Plenary Meeting of the European Commission.

SkenData is an award-winning InsurTech, FinanceTech and PropTech

Our innovative technologies, products and visions were once again recognized internationally this year. We were honored twice with the FinTech Awards as “InsurTech Company of the Year (Europe)” and “Best Digital Building Valuation Tool (Europe)”. We also impressed at this year’s PropTech Innovation Award and are a proud finalist.

Wert14 – Digital building valuation from SkenData

We are not losing sight of the building valuation – many other underinsurance waivers and features as well as the provision of the annual subscription are new this year in Wert14.

Female power and further strengthening of the management team

Since September 2022, the SkenData management has been supported by our Chief Operating Officer Galya Ihle. The long-standing COO brings a breath of fresh air to the management team around Sven Jantzen and Jon Meis with passion and dedication.

Patrick Rahn has also been appointed as an authorized signatory with effect from September 2022. The SkenData Business Development Manager is also a long-standing team member and brings all his expertise to the table – now also as an authorized signatory.

The SkenData team has also continued to grow this year and, with its 20 employees, is now fully committed to the digitalization of the finance, banking and insurance industry on a daily basis.

2023 – The year of sustainability

The year 2023 is all about sustainability for us. Climate targets, EU taxonomy and ESG KPIs are no longer an issue for any industry. We have made it our mission to support the banking, finance and insurance sectors with our software solutions in the preparation of their opening balance sheets. Determining the ecological footprint of building portfolios is particularly important to us as “experts in energy efficiency”.

We are working flat out on the energy requirement certificate and the refurbishment roadmap for the sustainable refurbishment of buildings.
