SkenData and co2online launch subsidy add-on in EnergyCheck: New opportunities for efficient building renovations

Berlin | Rostock, 07.01.2025 – SkenData, a leading provider of innovative building data solutions, is now integrating an add-on for issuing promotional loans and grants for renovation measures into its EnergyCheck. Together with the non-profit consultancy co2online, SkenData offers a comprehensive overview of current
funding opportunities for building refurbishments.

Up-to-date and comprehensive funding advice

The new funding add-on provides up-to-date information on grants and loans at federal, state and municipal level. After the energy assessment of a building in the EnergyCheck, users can have a renovation roadmap drawn up that shows possible subsidies and suitable loans.

The “Besserprüfung” ensures that the optimum
funding combinations are always issued for the planned measures. This is based on all sensible refurbishment measures on the building and their cumulative refurbishment costs. “With the integration of the subsidy add-on, we offer our customers a unique combination of energy assessment and subsidy advice,” explains Patrick Rahn, Managing Partner of SkenData. “Our solution takes into account all available public funding programs and provides a complete overview – precise, transparent and updated on a daily basis.

Cooperation with co2online: Promoting climate-friendly refurbishments

In contrast to other offers on the market that work with calculators from various funding providers, the add-on checks all funding options at federal, state and municipal level. This guarantees comprehensive advice that is differentiated on a national, regional and local level. The entire process is based on the individual building configuration that is carried out in SkenData EnergyCheck, e.g. for the creation of a registered energy certificate.

“The cooperation with SkenData is an important step for us to further promote the implementation of energy-efficient renovations,” adds Carolin Fleischmann, Social Business Development Manager at co2online. “With the funding add-on, we are making funding opportunities visible and accessible – a significant contribution to more funding for climate-friendly renovations.
Patrick Rahn concludes: “Our partnership with co2online underlines our commitment to providing practical and innovative solutions for building renovations. With the funding add-on, we are providing our customers with a powerful tool for implementing refurbishment projects efficiently and cost-effectively.”
